As an artist myself, I've recently tried to purchase directly from the artists' sites more often. Record labels and big box stores like Amazon don't need the money, and they shouldn't be profiting off of the artist's hard work and creativity and their loyal fan base/consumers. Those days need to come to an end. If it costs a little more on occasion to NOT support Amazon, Walmart, Target, etc., I'm all for it when I'm able to do it.
